Executive direction

Description

The Executive direction leads IRBLleida and is responsible for its scientific, strategic and institutional direction. It coordinates the Institute's activities, promotes the development of research and innovation, represents the organisation before its stakeholders, and ensures compliance with the objectives and decisions established by the governing bodies.

Functions

To lead, coordinate and promote IRBLleida's research, innovation and knowledge transfer activities.
To define and implement the Institute's scientific and institutional strategy.
To represent IRBLleida before institutions, organisations and external stakeholders.
To implement and ensure compliance with the decisions adopted by the governing bodies within its area of responsibility.
To coordinate the management team and oversee the Institute's overall operations.
To promote scientific excellence, talent attraction and IRBLleida's strategic positioning at national and international levels.
To approve institutional policies and promote the principles of good governance, transparency, quality and regulatory compliance.
