Business Advisory Board (BAB)
Description
The Business Advisory Board is a consultative body that works closely with the Board of Trustees and the management team of IRBLleida. Comprised of representatives from companies and organisations linked to healthcare, innovation and economic development, it helps strengthen knowledge transfer, foster innovation and enhance the Institute's connection with its socioeconomic environment.
Functions
- To advise the Board of Trustees and the Executive Director on matters relating to innovation, knowledge transfer and relations with the business sector.
- To identify opportunities for collaboration between IRBLleida, businesses and other stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem.
- To help strengthen the economic and social impact of the research carried out at the Institute.
- To promote initiatives that facilitate the transfer of research results and the commercialisation of knowledge.
- To facilitate the exchange of experiences, trends and needs within the business sector regarding health and innovation.
- To promote public-private collaboration and the establishment of strategic alliances.
- To support the positioning of IRBLleida as a leading player in biomedical research and innovation in the region.
