Boards of Trustee

Description

The Board of Trustees is the highest governing body of IRBLleida. It is responsible for the representation, overall leadership and strategic oversight of the institution, ensuring the fulfilment of its foundational purposes and the development of its scientific mission. Its functions include defining the Institute's strategic priorities, adopting the resolutions necessary for its operation, overseeing institutional activities, and promoting the principles of quality, transparency and good governance.

Functions

  • To represent IRBLleida at the institutional level.
  • To assume overall leadership and general supervision of the Foundation.
  • To ensure compliance with the Foundation's purposes and the Institute's mission.
  • To adopt the strategic decisions necessary for the operation and development of IRBLleida.
  • To delegate specific functions to the Delegated Commission and oversee their implementation.
  • To appoint and dismiss the advisory bodies established in the statutes, in accordance with the powers granted by internal regulations.
  • To approve institutional policies and promote the principles of good governance, transparency, quality and regulatory compliance.
