Presentation
The Internal Scientific Committee is the advisory body to the IRBLleida Directorate on scientific, strategic and organisational matters. Its main mission is to contribute to the development of the Institute's scientific activity by promoting researchers' participation in scientific governance and supporting the definition of research and innovation priorities. The ISC does not perform management or institutional representation functions; instead, it acts as a consultative body to the Directorate. This advisory role is established in the ISC regulations and in the Foundation's Statutes.
Functions
- To advise the Directorate on scientific, strategic and organisational matters.
- To propose new initiatives and actions to foster research and innovation within the Institute.
- To participate in the drafting and monitoring of the Strategic Plan, the Training Plan and other internal regulations.
- To collaborate with the Directorate in defining the annual scientific objectives and preparing the IRBLleida Scientific Annual Report.
- To act as a participation body for research groups and research areas within the Institute's scientific governance framework.
- To support the evaluation and prioritisation processes for research grants and funding calls when required.
- To promote and participate in the organisation of scientific activities, such as seminars, workshops and research meetings.
- To ensure that research activities at IRBLleida are conducted in accordance with ethical principles and good scientific practice.
