Committee on Research Integrity

Presentation

The Research Integrity Committee (CIR) is the advisory body of IRBLleida responsible for promoting scientific integrity and good research practice. Its mission is to ensure compliance with the ethical principles and standards of integrity applicable to the Institute's research activities, in accordance with the IRBLleida Code of Ethics and Conduct, the CERCA Institutional Code of Conduct and the European Code of Conduct for Integrity in Research.

The CIR acts as a forum for trust, advice and reflection to prevent situations that may compromise the quality or integrity of research and to guide the research community in the event of enquiries or potential conflicts relating to scientific practice. It is an advisory body, not a disciplinary one, which carries out its work independently, impartially, confidentially and with respect for the rights of all those involved.
